Reply as the seller

Say you sell it in the first line, then answer the question.

I make a Mac voice-control app. If what you want is commands rather than dictation, mine turns spoken or typed commands into actions across your Mac apps, one step at a time. It's not a context engine, so it won't learn what matters to you — it's currently in public beta for Apple Silicon on macOS 15 and up, and you bring your own API key. For more personalisation, other tools may fit better. Just another option to look at.

Why open with it

  • Readers check post histories. A hidden seller is found out, and the reply is reported.
  • A disclosed answer that actually helps is welcome in most communities.
  • Each subreddit has its own rules on self-promotion. Read them before you post.

What to write after the first line

  • Answer the thing they asked, in steps they can follow today.
  • Leave out the pitch. If the answer is useful, the first line did the selling.
  • Skip the thread when you have nothing to add.
